Great Northern Air Race
–THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED–
Over Auckland Anniversary weekend, North Shore Aero Club host the annual Great Northern Air Race. The race departs North Shore Airport on the morning of Saturday 26th January 2019 and returns on the afternoon of Monday 28th January 2019.
FlyingNZ National Competition
The 2019 Flying New Zealand National Competition will be hosted by NSAC. This event is over a few days with aircraft expecting to arrive Tuesday 12th Competition Starting Wednesday 13th February. The competition will end on Saturday the 16th with a presentation dinner at the club house.

Langley – Marshall Memorial Aerobatic Competition
On Saturday 24th March 2018, North Shore Aero Club hosted the Langley-Marshall Memorial Aerobatic Competition at North Shore Airport.
There are lots of regular scheduled and charter airlines operating from North Shore Airport providing links to various destinations throughout New Zealand. All airlines operate from the main terminal building centrally located at the airport.
As New Zealand’s premier fixed wing flight training provider, North Shore Aero Club cater to everything from recreational to commercial qualifications. North Shore Helicopter Training, conveniently located next door, provide helicopter pilot training.
